Mercedes-Benz has confirmed its SLS AMG supercar will bow out at the 2013 LA and Tokyo Motor Shows with a limited-numbers GT Final Edition. The 350 examples of the SLS AMG GT Final Edition available are said to represent the ‘last opportunity’ for interested buyers to purchase an SLS before it gets pensioned off – perhaps in favour of a newer, smaller AMG-built sports car. Nissan 370Z prices announced

Nissan has announced prices for UK-spec 370 Z sports cars, and punters will be pleased to learn that the entry-level Zed will cost £26,895 – a mere £166 more than the 350Z. All cars of course come with a rear-wheel drive chassis and 328bhp 3.7-litre V6, but base-model 370Zs also have climate-control, electric seats, 18-inch wheels, automatic xenon lights, plus aux-in and Bluetooth connections. For an extra £3300 you can get the GT pack, which replaces your measly 18-inch alloys with 19in forged Rays items, gives you electric heated leather seats, upgrades your stereo and adds the Synchro Rev Control, which automatically blips the throttle on downshifts.
Renault is to revive the Gordini name, using it on range-topping versions of its Renaultsport Twingo, Clio and Megane hot hatches. The first new-generation Gordini will be based on the Renaultsport Twingo 133, and be unveiled on 25 November 2009 at Renault's premier showroom on the Champs Elysees. The new car will be called the Twingo Gordini RS, and then a Clio Gordini RS will follow in spring 2010.
